Challenging Staircase Design

This beautiful staircase forms the heart of this North American style inspired home. The staircase is self supporting and highly crafted. Not many stair manufacturers could understand the design and exactly how the staircase would be executed in the build. That’s where the experience of Adrian Gasparini was invaluable.

Adrian briefed the stair manufacturer in comprehensive detail, and again, the plasterer. Sometimes, you come across a design that only tradespeople who were taught ‘the old fashioned way’ using the more traditional carpentry principals can execute competently. This staircase certainly did not disappoint, and rises admirably to it’s vision of understated elegance and craftsmanship. It will be enjoyed for generations to come.
